Effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) on yield attributes and yield of hybrid maize (Zea mays L.)

The field study was carried out at the Department of Agronomy, Eastern Block Farm in Tamil Nadu Agriculture University Coimbatore, to effect Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) on yield attributes and hybrid maize. Total fourteen treatment were followed which twelve treatments ZnONPs 50,100,200 300 ppm administered two stages viz., knee height stage (30-35 DAS) tasseling (46-56 one foliar spray 0.5% ZnSO4 control water with three replications. Among different application @ tasselling give significantly recorded higher cob length ( 20.21cm), weight (217.17 g), girth (16.8 cm) as well grain (5,213 kg ha-1) stover (13,417 ha-1).
